Friends of Hornet Rugby, established in 2024, is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by both the IRS and CA FTB (EIN: 99-2326850). Your contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and based on your individual tax situation.

Friends of Hornet Rugby was created and is led by Sacramento State Rugby Alumni with a clear mission: to support the current team, strengthen the alumni network, and build lasting connections between past and present players. Beyond that, we’re committed to help elevate the quality of the program - helping recruit top talent and making Sacramento State a destination of choice for high-level rugby. The Alumni Board meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 7 PM PST, and we welcome your participation. 

Every donation directly supports Sacramento State Men’s Rugby. Funds help cover essential team needs such as travel expenses, new kits, equipment, and other resources that keep the program strong. We also maintain ongoing costs like the team website to ensure the club stays connected with its community.

Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for current players while building a strong foundation for the future. Your generosity makes that possible.
